Wachter is currently accepting applications for a Business Intelligence Developer 1 in our Lenexa, KS office. This position will be responsible for troubleshooting and improving existing BI systems, while ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of data.

Requirements:
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
- Industry experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist.
- Background in data warehouse design and data mining.
- Strong understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing, and ETL frameworks.
- Familiarity with BI technologies, specifically Microsoft's BI Stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI)
- Knowledge of SQL queries and SQL Server Management Studio.
- A team player that also works well independently.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude.
- Proficient with using smartphones and computers, including email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to work well with all groups at Wachter.
- Understanding of Wachter's business rules, processes, and day-to-day operations for all companies, divisions, departments, and teams.
Responsibilities:
- Translate business needs to technical specifications.
- Design, build, and deploy BI solutions.
- Maintain and support data analytics platforms.
- Create tools to store data.
- Evaluate and improve existing BI systems.
- Collaborate with team to integrate systems.
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.
- Maintain the company's high standard of quality and professionalism regarding workmanship, customer relations, coworkers, behavior, and appearance.
- Perform any other duties not specifically stated herein, but which your supervisor may assign.
