We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Developer with AWS experience to join a data warehouse and Business Intelligence (BI) development team supporting our federal client working to migrate an on-prem Oracle Enterprise Edition (EE) data warehouse to Redshift Data warehouse in AWS. This is a full-time position requiring an active Top-Secret clearance with on-site work performed at the client's office. 100% on-site work in one of the following locations: Washington, DC; Quantico, VA; Chantilly, VA.
Responsibilities:
- Work hand-in-hand with our AWS Solutions Architect, ETL and BI developers to configure and implement existing on-prem data warehouse infrastructure to AWS.
- Design and deploy AWS Redshift DW solution to support data integration, transformation, reporting and analytics around financial data.
- Build the infrastructure required for optimal ETL/ELT (extraction, transformation, and loading) of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS services.
- Develop and maintain data management standards, and documentation of current data sources, raw data, data marts, transformations, and report specifications.
- Develop Lambda functions, python code and ETL SQL procedures to retrieve data from source systems to the AWS Redshift.
- Work in a fast-paced Agile environment with fluid requirements and changing priorities.
Requirements:
- Active Top-Secret clearance required.

- Six to ten years' experience designing, developing, and implementing database solutions.
- Strong knowledge in PL/SQL code to perform ETL for both full loads and incremental loads from an OLTP system to a Dimensional Data Warehouse.
- Understanding of core AWS services, uses, and AWS architecture best practices.
- Hand-on experience in different domains such as database architecture and Business Intelligence.
- Expertise in collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams of business analysts, data scientists, subject matter experts, and developers.
- Develop, implement and maintain development and production environments.
- Strong knowledge on automated CI/CD pipeline integrations with GitLab.
- Develop solutions and enforce DevOps patterns and practices.
- Strong knowledge on Dimensional Modelling, ETL/Warehouse architectures and Designs, and Data Migrations.
- Experience configuring logging and auditing services (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, etc).
- Experience with serverless architecture a plus.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams in the organization.
- Experience working within an Agile/SAFe teaming environment with multiple vendors and stakeholders.
- Understanding of network and data security architecture
