SNI Technology’s client located in Greeley, CO is seeking to hire a talented Business Intelligence Analyst for an exciting full-time, permanent position! Please note that the duties for this role may be performed on a remote basis. Full-time, Colorado residents residing in MST zone is highly preferred.
JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, this position supports organizational and departmental initiatives, including executing projects based on strategic and contractual needs. Expectations initiatives include working with multiple projects to provide data analytical reporting and developing and managing Business Intelligence solutions for the organization. This position will require evaluating internal and external client requirements and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner. This position will utilize internal data to develop performance visualizations and dashboards, analyze trends, and provide raw data for additional analysis when required. This position will be responsible for tracking and trending performance on a consistent basis across KPIs, Behavioral Health Incentive Program (BHIP), and Performance Pool measures. This position will also support partnering providers with additional analysis, data extracts, and performance reports as needed.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following:
  • Analyze healthcare data stored across various data warehouses including SQL server, Snowflake, and stand-alone spreadsheets.
  • Develop interactive real-time dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI and/or pivot tables to develop data tables, charts, and graphs.
  • Provide ongoing development and maintenance of an operational data store and enterprise data warehouse using BI best practices, relational structures, dimensional data modeling, structured query language skills, data warehouse and reporting techniques.
  • Under general direction, responsible for converting business requirements and high-level data collection needs into well-specified analyses, reporting and visualizations.
  • Improve and streamline processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy, viability, and value.
  • Provide ongoing development and maintenance of a BI architecture that enables fact-based decision making and ad-hoc analysis and insight generation.
  • Identify gaps in data and identify new data sources for performance measure calculations.
  • Communicate with staff, clients, and leadership on reporting project progress and serve as a main point of contact for reporting project initiatives.
  • Provide support for a variety of meetings, demonstrations, and program activities related to Business Intelligence.
  • Test reports/dashboard projects in accordance with business and functional design following best practices for quality assurance.
  • Support quality improvement projects to impact Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Behavioral Health Incentive Plan (BHIP) measures, Performance Pool measures.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Minimal requirements for education, knowledge, and experience:
Education/Credentials/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science.
  • 3+ years prior business analyst experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Other:
  • Ability to consolidate, interpret and present data in reports/dashboards for Executive, Team Leads and Individual End Users
  • Ability to produce reports and dashboard using Tableau, Microsoft Power BI and other data tools.
  • Ability to define and document customer business processes and report/dashboard content needs including business process diagrams, data maps, and data modeling.
  • Comprehension of change management processes
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) practices, principles, and techniques as they apply to Agile development process.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to listen and relate with the customer.
  • Strong knowledge of productivity tools such as Office 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong team player that is willing to help other team members at all times.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment remote/onsite.
  • Effectively execute projects while balancing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • High degree of self-motivation and professionalism with the ability to take initiative
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The salary range for this position is $82K to $95K base annually + full benefits. Please note your actual pay rate will be determined based upon your skills, knowledge and abilities including work experience - talk with your recruiter to learn more.
