COMPANY OVERVIEW: Our client specializes in industrial construction, maintenance, and turnarounds for the refining and petrochemical markets.
POSITION: Business Development- Turnaround Services
COMPENSATION: Competitive salary + DOE

LOCATION: Baton Rouge/New Orleans, LA (southeast territory)
SUMMARY: The Business Development Manager will have the opportunity to establish a new client base and drive revenue growth for the company. The successful candidate will have a proven record of prospecting and new Business Development in the refineries and petrochemical plants.
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Establish and manage important relationships with new prospects and existing clients
•Develop new sales opportunities through existing relationships, market research,
•This role will participate in industry events and proactive outreach to potential clients
•Identify prospects and existing clients needs that fit the company’s services capabilities
•Strong follow up on opportunities
•Ensure customer satisfaction through client communications
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills; writing, editing and presenting
•Confer with clients to understand business objectives and strategic direction
•Conduct formal presentations and close new business
•Prepare and execute an annual sales plan
•Maintain records on conversations and correspondents with prospects and clients.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in Business Development, corporate account management and budgeting
- Working knowledge of maintenance projects and turnarounds is a MUST.
- Must have strong book of contacts in Refining and Petrochem industries.
- Demonstrate leadership qualities and possess strong organizational skills.
- Ability to think strategically based on knowledge of client’s business.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
