Job Description:
Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Specialist to join our Behavioral Health team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in expanding our presence in the Behavioral Health sector, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving growth for our services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research: Conduct in-depth research on the Behavioral Health market to identify trends, competitors, and potential opportunities for growth.
2. Lead Generation: Identify potential clients and partners in the Behavioral Health field, including hospitals, clinics, healthcare professionals, and community organizations.
3. Client Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with prospective clients through outreach, meetings, presentations, and follow-up communications.
4. Proposal Development: Collaborate with the Business Development team to create compelling proposals, presentations, and contracts tailored to the unique needs of clients.
5. Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to build a strong network within the Behavioral Health sector and represent the company effectively.
6. Market Expansion: Assist in the development and execution of strategies to expand the company's footprint in Behavioral Health services, including new service offerings and geographic areas.
7. Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry regulations, emerging trends, and changes in the Behavioral Health landscape, providing valuable insights to the team.
8. Reporting: Maintain detailed records of Business Development activities, client interactions, and progress towards goals, and provide regular reports to the Business Development manager.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, psychology, healthcare administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
· Minimum of 1 year of experience in Business Development, sales, or marketing, with a focus on the Behavioral Health industry.
· Knowledge of the Behavioral Health landscape, including key stakeholders and industry trends.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities.
· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and Business Development targets.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Results-oriented with a strong sense of initiative.
