The Business Development Specialist will be expected to dress professionally and maintain up to date knowledge on credit union products, services, policies and procedures while representing and promoting the credit union.
This position is a Pay Grade 6 and will be located at our Mortgage and Insurance building.
*The Business Development Specialist is an entry level position**
This position requires regular local travel using Credit Union vehicle. A valid driver's license is required for this position.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• To achieve or exceed the established credit union and Business Development goals through building of member relationships.
• Schedule, coordinate and attend appreciation lunches/events to promote credit union benefits to employees of schools and work with assigned districts to maintain a positive relationship. Assist with the credit union's involvement in school events such as appreciation lunches, new teacher events, benefits meetings, and job fairs, etc.
• Responsible for tracking Business Development efforts utilizing CU-Force and proper coordination of events through the use of Outlook and Calendly.
• Assist new members with the completion of opening account through the mobile app and coordinating payroll deduction for qualifying school districts.
• Responsible for identifying reportable transactions under the Bank Secrecy Act, obtaining required information, and reporting transactions. Responsible for compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all governmental regulations and Credit Union Policies and guidelines. Responsible for complying with Federal Rules and Regulations as required by NCUA.
