We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at 1-800-Packouts. This role will be responsible for promoting our packout services and generating new business opportunities. You will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and increasing revenue by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the local market of customers who require our services.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential target segments and develop strategies to reach them effectively.
- Proactively engage with prospects through various channels, including phone calls, emails, networking events, and industry trade shows.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by consistently generating and following up on leads.
- Conduct sales presentations and demonstrations to showcase our packout services and differentiate our offerings from competitors.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize opportunities for repeat business.
- Develop strategic partnerships with local businesses, insurance agents, adjusters, and other key stakeholders to generate referrals and collaborative opportunities.
- Utilize digital marketing channels, such as social media, email marketing, and online advertising, to reach and engage with target audiences.
- Collaborate with team to plan and coordinate promotional campaigns, special offers, and seasonal initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance metrics. Report to manager on a weekly basis with results.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales and marketing roles, preferably in a service-oriented industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with diverse audiences.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills to effectively communicate our value proposition and close sales.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Familiarity with digital marketing channels and techniques.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
