JMT Consulting Inc. is looking for a Hunter and Strategic Thinker with a drive to work with Nonprofits. JMT Consulting is looking for an enthusiastic and “hungry” candidate to join our sales team to develop warm leads in the Software as a Solution – Mid-Market ERP space and to help tell our story to nonprofits across North America. This position will work closely with our Sales and Marketing teams to assist in lead generation as well as contribute to our marketing activities. The ideal candidate is an independent, hard-working, self-motivated, and creative individual who is experienced, and has a passion for B2B Marketing and Business Development in SaaS.
You will work closely with marketing to support your efforts and have a voice that is heard to help you achieve your goals. You will be responsible for outbound calls to warm leads generated through various marketing activities, events, and our reputation as a leader in the space.
Location: Nashville, TN area
Principle Responsibilities
- Outbound calling to develop prospects to transition to the Sales team. The primary goal of this job is to “qualify the lead & get the appointment”.
- Identifying potential customers through networking initiatives, cold-calling, and email communications.
- Preparing and delivering sales presentations to potential and existing customers.
- Preparing regular activity and success reports as well as outbound contact plans.
- Researching competitors’ products, pricing, and product success to determine customer preferences.
- Developing innovative strategies to support achievement of overall sales goals, you are in control of your own destiny.
Key Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- Must have a “resourceful” attitude, with ability to “think outside the box” in considering other methods of contact, when leaving voice mails aren’t productive & no one returns the calls.
- Experience with nonprofits and/or accounting software preferred.
- Must demonstrate strong organizational skills & strategies, ideas to accomplish goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fast pace and multitask environment, time management skills are needed.
- Must be able to quickly build rapport to the potential customer through email or telephone, demonstrating that you a valued resource and are authentic.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Conference and events where there is travel with this position.
- Minimum of 3 years of cold calling/outbound work experience
- Strong Computer Skills (Google Mail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, HubSpot +, Salesforce is our CRM)
- Experience as a SaaS Sales Development Rep, working with B2B customers.
- Previous experience with financial management software a definite plus.
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Strong phone presence and fast thinker. Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
