Position Details
Villageplan is looking to hire an experienced and professional Business Development Representative to help build and maintain positive relationships in the community. The Business Development Representative plays a vital role in building and maintaining positive relationships in the community, with healthcare, legal, and financial organizations. This role is responsible for promoting our healthcare services and increasing awareness about our services and programs. The Business Development Representative’s efforts will contribute to the growth of our client base and enhance the overall well-being of the families and community partners we serve.
Job Duties
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with lead sources (Elder Law, Wealth Managers, Trust Officers, Financial & Insurance Planners, and Healthcare Providers) while creating a sales and marketing pipeline within assigned territory.
- Identify new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and company goals.
- Maintain relationships with key accounts while providing new opportunities to work together.
- Provide management and support for strategic partnerships pipeline development in consultation with the Business Development Director.
- Effectively manage the sales process through prospect development, proposal, presentation, and closing negotiations to achieve company goals.
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels to bring incremental sales.
- Work collaboratively with the Marketing Specialists to develop online and local promotional strategies; the company’s social media presence promotes company events and value add propositions for clients and their families.
- Provide educational presentations to community groups, caregivers, and healthcare providers about the benefits and services offered by Villageplan.
- Organize and participate in local and regional community event outreach and promotional events community events such as health fairs, and workshops to promote awareness about our services.
- Manage CRM following company processes.
- Remain current on trending marketplace indicators, industry association research, etc
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations is required
- 3 + years experience in sales, marketing, and/or Business Development required
- Proven experience in community outreach and in meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent listening, collaboration, and negotiation skills
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
- Ability to analyze and adapt to current and potential customer needs
- Ability to track industry trends and develop sales forecasts to capture the market
- Proficiency using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and online meeting tools
- Strong project management and follow-through
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proven experience using CRM or related systems to manage activities, drive analytics, reporting, and related functions (Insightly or Salesforce a plus)
- Experienced in developing business action sales plans and driving execution and achievement of targeted result
- Knowledge of home health care services and regulations is a plus
Compensation: Villageplan is committed to providing market competitive, equitable pay to all employees
- Base Salary Range: $70,000-80,000 annually
- Bonus Compensation: Estimated Commissions - $10,000-$15,000 annually
- Commissions are uncapped
- Commissions are based on successful achievement of position and departmental KPI’s
