Position Overview:
As a Business Development Representative, you will be at the forefront of our expansion efforts, identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients and partners, and contributing to our overall growth strategy. Your role will be crucial in driving our mission forward by increasing our market presence and fostering sustainable business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, and secure business opportunities by cultivating relationships with potential clients at Fortune 1000 corporations
  • Develop and implement outreach strategies via emails, calls, and social media to generate new leads and set up meetings.
  • Conduct market research to identify new trends, industries, and markets for potential expansion.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align strategies and enhance brand visibility in the target markets.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to ensure offerings meet the evolving needs of the market.
  • Participate in industry conferences, workshops, and networking events to build relationships and promote our brand.
  • Track and report on all activities and results, providing insights and strategies for improvement.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our products, services, and the renewable energy industry to effectively communicate our value proposition.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in Business Development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in the renewable energy sector or a related industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to translate findings into strategic actions.
  • Self-motivated, with a high level of energy and persistence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.
  • Passion for sustainability and renewable energy.
