What You'll Do:

The Business Development Representative will generate new sales opportunities and adds qualified sales leads to the sales pipeline. This role is responsible for prospecting, following up on qualified leads.

  • Be the first point of contact of new business prospects, primarily through cold calling, emailing, etc.
  • Prospecting, researching and identifying new leads by using a variety of approaches including online searches and industry specific searches.
  • Identify the key decision makers within these prospects.
  • Updating Bardavon’s sales tools with up-to-date information.
  • Coordinating with the sales team to develop and grow the pipelines.
  • Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to pinpoint growth opportunities.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Participate in relevant industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services through designated line of business.
  • Meet all quotas for sales activities assigned, including but not limited to, cold, active and inactive calls, appointments and interviews, meeting or exceeding annual sales goals as assigned.

Must Have's:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of Sales experience.
  • Prefer experience in occupational health & safety, physical therapy, or worker’s compensation.
  • Experience in lead generation and prospect management preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM software.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Compensation:

  • The range of base salary for this role is between $57,000 to $71,000 plus benefits. Please note that base salary is a guideline and will vary based on factors such as work location, qualifications, skill level, and competencies. Additionally, salary is just one component of Bardavon’s total rewards package. Depending on the role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program and/or incentive pay.
