Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative will advance new marketing leads through a nurturing process and create opportunities for new business.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Research and identify potential customers within the manufacturing industry.

• Cold call potential clients to establish new business relationships.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Attend industry events and trade shows to network and generate leads.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials.
• Coordinate necessary quotations, drawings, and product data to progress through the sales process.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Organized with attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with sales process.
• Exceptional skills in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Requirements

Education/Experience:

• Associate or bachelor degree in business management, marketing, or related field.

• Sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in SalesForce software preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 32 pounds unassisted.
