Business Development Program

This year in 2023 we have expanded our Leadership Development program even more into two different paths. We have our Leadership Development Program and a Business Development Program. Both Fall Under our LaunchPoint Leader Umbrella. While LDP is for college graduates who are looking to make Chick-fil-A their career (whether that is becoming an operator or working for our corporate offices). BDP is designed for those who are still looking for what is the right fit for them and want an opportunity to come and learn to become a better leader.

The Business Development Program at Chick-fil-A of Murfreesboro is an immersive 18-36 month program to help you grow into a fully developed Chick-fil-A leader. This program is designed to help you learn multiple areas of the business and find your passions. You will get one-on-one coaching from a personal coach to help develop you into the leader you desire to be. Each participant will serve alongside a more tenured Director. The tenured Director will work to develop BDP participants in each area while also giving real ownership and responsibility to the program participant. The desired outcome is for you to be ready to lead at the highest levels of leadership both within our organization or to develop you to be ready for the next step in your career. Your Role on Our Team:

• All great leadership starts with self leadership. In our leadership Development Program you will learn how to develop a vision for each area of your life and execute that vision. You will become an expert at time and priority management.
• Lead in both the front of house and back of house operations
• Regularly monitor key business metrics to track results and act on areas of opportunity.
• Training and developing your team
• Setting business goals
• Developing business systems
• Monitoring business progress and leading change as necessary.
• Monthly meetings with BDP participants and Operator
• Hands on, in-depth training
• Designated time spent in each area of the business
• Traveling to help on grand openings at other Chick-fil-As across the country.
• Creating a place of restoration for guests and team members

Success Profile:

• Available to work a minimum of 45 hours per week, at least 3 out of 4 Saturdays per month, and have flexible availability including evenings.
• 18+ years old
• Ability and willingness to commit to a two-three year employment and development opportunity
• Strong academic background or a proven track record of leadership
• High Standards of excellence ( honesty, effort, urgency, integrity, diligence, dependability, ownership, etc.)

• Excellent judgement and decision-making skills
• High level of intrinsic motivation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have. Since the beginning, we've served chicken that is whole breast meat, with no added fillers or hormones, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants. Produce is delivered fresh to our kitchens several times a week. Salads are chopped and prepared fresh throughout the day. Fresh lemon juice is combined with pure cane sugar and water (yep, that’s all) to make Chick-fil-A Lemonade®. It may not be the easy way, but it's the only way we know.
