We are seeking a Business Development Manager for developing and maintaining strong relationships with MRA members, potential members, and business networks in order to provide the most effective, customized solutions to meet their needs.
As the Business Development Manager you get to :
- Represent MRA in a positive, professional manner, always keeping the best interest and needs of the member at the forefront.
- Growing new memberships for MRA
Maintaining high member retention (95% or higher)
Marketing MRA services such as: training, local briefings, roundtables, and HR business solution services.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with MRA members, potential members, and business networks in order to provide the most effective, customized solutions to meet their business needs.
- Represent MRA in a positive, professional manner, always keeping the best interest and needs of the member at the forefront.
Meet and/or exceed annual membership and business solutions sales goals.
Perform other duties as necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Marketing, Sales, Human Resources, General Business or equivalent work experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in sales/development, association management, or human resource related field.
- Excellent presentation skills (formal and informal).
- Business development success, preferably in service sectors in consultative sales.
- A passion for understanding and servicing businesses and developing partnerships.
