The Business Development Manager will office out of our Owatonna or Faribault location and is responsible for revenue growth in the Southern, MN area.
This position offers a generous compensation plan (base salary + uncapped commission), performance based bonuses, mileage reimbursement, and cell phone allowance!
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prospects for new business via telephone, Internet, social media or outside sales calls.
- Participates in local professional, business and civic organizations to enhance personal development and to promote company recognition.
- Develops organizational charts and relationships throughout the client company to identify and capture additional business opportunities.
- Creates, maintains, and updates new client files in our CRM
- Participates in monthly review of territory and quarterly business plans with forecasts.
- Develops and maintains knowledge of economic trends and changes affecting local businesses, including knowledge of competitors in area.
- Maintains active involvement in the community and networking groups.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of business to business (B2B) outside sales experience
- HS Diploma or GED; or bachelor’s degree in related field
- Must have a valid driver’s license
