Summary:

Business Development Manager: QSR -- Is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive internal and external sales plan that would increase revenues and profits. The market focus would be North America, specifically the QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) channel. This position is expected to uphold the mission and values established by the organization while remaining focused on influencing the influencers in the market that drives incremental business beyond the core.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes against Annual Business Plan revenue targets.
  • Provides a weekly update to the 13-week forecast, for assigned accounts.
  • Evaluates our products against market competition and the latest industry trends to determine our competitive position.
  • Monitors competitive landscape for QSR market development.
  • Actively collects and forwards relevant competitive market intelligence and provides reports as requested.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and supports purpose, vision, core values, policies, and procedures,
  • Assists in the planning of any event that highlights new business/market development.
  • Identify new distributors, service networks, brand partners, and go-to-market strategies where required.
  • Develops relationships within business channels with organizational principles.
  • Develops a channel strategy for new customers in the frozen beverage commercial foodservice segment and specifically the QSR channel.
  • Identifies and requests resources required of the Company to drive growth.
  • Attends and leads trade shows pertinent to the assigned channel and markets.
  • Identifies service gaps and engages Technical Advisors when accounts are in development stages.
  • Works collaboratively in developing accounts and makes the appropriate customer transitions.

Qualifications - Education/Experience:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, Business Development, marketing, or a related field.
  • QSR/Food Service Business Development Experience preferred. Experience in FMCG and Beverage Industry is also suitable.
  • Self-motivated; can work independently and in teams; and possesses a high degree of sales and marketing acumen to drive business results.
  • Must have the ability to:
  1. Manage complex sales situations, communicate, and make decisions based on facts.
  2. Manage and influence multiple levels of buyers and influencers.
  3. Analyze a business channel and develop a customer plan of action and execute.
  4. Facilitate and develop business relationships based on an understanding of the customer/buyers needs and wants, priorities, values, and preferences.
  5. Identify and understand patterns and interconnectivity of pertinent data to predict business performance and market trends for a specific customer channel, i.e., customer/consumer trends, channel information, economic climate, industry trends, and beverage trends.
  6. Organize, focus on, and prioritize the most important elements of the business plan.
  7. Use excellent internal and external written/verbal communication skills.
  8. Use cognitive listening.
  9. Commitment to learning and excellence in all job requirements.
  10. Use good judgment and creatively solve problems.
  11. Must be able to pass a background check, drug test, and reference check.
  • Domestic travel of more than +/-50%

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk, hear, type, and have eye/hand/foot coordination.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, walk, climb stairs, stand, reach, grasp, lift, push, pull, and carry.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to sit and operate a computer keyboard and mouse.
  • This position works in a typical office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This position will be required to be exposed to manufacturing areas as needed.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
