MAJOR FOCUS:
Responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all customers. Takes orders, prepares food products, serves customers, accepts payment, and makes change.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Extends a friendly and courteous welcome and farewell to every arriving guest.
- Takes food and drink orders from customers.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area at all times.
- Ensures eating areas are clean and organized.
- Operates the Point of Sale system.
- Handles all cashiering transactions in accordance with established policies.
- Prepares all menu items according to specific guidelines.
- Responsible for preparation of PHO soup/ Condiments and other Menu items available
- Ensures that hot/cold foods are maintained at proper temperatures.
- Keeps condiment station fully stocked and cleaned at all times.
- Ensures that trash is emptied regularly.
- Must be knowledgeable of the menu items.
- Provides exceptional customer service.
- Works safely, following all established safety rules and regulations.
- Communicates effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests.
- Follows all relevant policies and procedures.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:
- Must have at least 1 year experience working with Asian Cuisine & Service
- Must possess high school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required.
- Prior experience in a food and beverage operation preferred.
- Must possess good communication skills.
- Must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays and nights as needed.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
- Must present an overall professional appearance and report to work in appropriate attire
- Must be able to speak, read and write English.
