Help us adapt the world's best gaming IP for a brand-new audience, create new ways for our gamers to engage with their favorite characters and worlds and work with some of the best creators in the industry! We are looking for a passionate and experienced Manager of Business Development to join the PlayStation Studios Mobile Business Development Team to support Licensing and Developer Partnerships. This role will be an opportunity to make a big impact by:
- Helping assess, manage, execute all day-to-day aspects of the PlayStation Licensing business for mobile
- Identifying opportunities for PlayStation Studios Mobile, whether by developer partner, IP strength or market openings
- Analyzing and monitoring the global landscape of potential partners for licensing or co-development
- Leading outreach and information trading to generate a solid pipeline of partners
- Assisting in creating robust process and framework for evaluating partners & managing deal flow
- Supporting negotiations of deal terms with partners, gathering input from and driving alignment with internal stakeholders
- Helping close deals and managing partnerships from a BD perspective
- Collaborating with Studios, Finance, Legal, and Executive teams to drive PlayStation's mobile business
Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years' experience in partnership management, Business Development, or operations - preferably in mobile gaming
- Knowledge and experience of the digital gaming landscape, key players, and competitive offerings
- Demonstrated ability to help drive successful businesses to the next level of performance, showing rapid and sustainable results
- Expertise in creating visually compelling, fact-based presentations
- Proven track record of relationship building with a growth mindset, constantly looking for ways to improve
- Solid knowledge of technical aspects of iOS and Android
- Relationship building both internally and externally and team-first mentality
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence cross-functional partners
- Leadership in crafting and executing the best solutions for players, partners, and the business
- Ability to adapt quickly and balance projects in a multifaceted, fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills - both verbal and written
- Previous licensing experience in gaming, mobile preferred
- Willingness to travel as needed
