This role is instrumental in our expansion, particularly in Boston, offering a robust platform for both technical mastery and Business Development.
Primary Responsibilities:
* On-site support of BioTech Lab environment/end user support/integration of equipment
* Lead technical operations while actively participating in Business Development strategies to expand client base and services.
* Forge and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, identifying opportunities to expand services and increase client satisfaction.
* Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and implement strategies that align technical capabilities with market demands.
* Drive the technical vision and strategy of the company, ensuring it supports overall business goals.
* Mentor and lead the Level 2 Engineering team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.
* Manage key projects, ensuring they meet technical standards, deadlines, and contribute to business growth.
* Provide advanced Level 2 IT support and oversee the integration of complex systems, particularly in the BioTech laboratory sector.
* Conduct business reviews with key stakeholders, presenting technical strategies, achievements, and future plans.
* Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the company's visibility and business prospects.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Strong technical background with the ability to identify emerging technologies and assess their potential business impact.
* Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building relationships and inspiring teams.
* Strategic thinker with a keen understanding of the IT industry, market trends, and customer needs.
* Proficient in project management, with a track record of delivering projects that drive business growth.
* Effective communicator, adept at conveying complex technical ideas to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
Credentials and Experience:
* 4+ years of experience in a technical lead role with significant involvement in Business Development or growth initiatives.
* Relevant certifications and a strong technical background in network and systems engineering.
* Proven experience in strategic planning, client relationship management, and Business Development in the IT sector.
