POSITION SUMMARY:
The Business Development Analyst for Long-term Care Facilities at Capital Funding LLC plays a vital role in supporting Originators by evaluating and structuring loans and credits for healthcare bridge-to-HUD and HUD platforms. This position involves monitoring existing relationships, conducting financial analysis, and contributing to deal structures. The analyst is also responsible for completing reporting functions, managing due diligence information, and assisting in the preparation of loan approval documents. As an integral part of the team, the analyst participates in the loan approval process and ensures files are up to date, contributing to the overall success of the Business Development team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct initial Due Diligence on new business, encompassing financial analysis, comps, and character reviews.
- Collaborate with Originators in deal structuring and facilitate effective client communication.
- Complete various reporting functions, analytics, and create databases to enhance operational efficiency.
- Organize and procure due diligence information, ensuring a seamless transition to the credit department.
- Assist in the preparation of loan summary approval documents for comprehensive project understanding.
- Participate, as needed, in the loan approval process, demonstrating a holistic approach to Business Development.
- Coordinate with the Loan Administrator to maintain updated files with relevant financial information and memos for satisfactory loan reviews.
- Conduct a thorough review of third-party reports, including appraisals, environmental assessments, and property condition reports.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in basic software applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with an emphasis on effective client interaction.
- Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships.
- Proactive thinking and the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in Business Development or a related field.
