Collins Aerospace is seeking a Business Development Engineering Intern for Summer 2024 to support the new business pursuits. You will be working with a team of BDEs who manage and coordinate all engineering activities related to a business pursuit. A highly motivated individual eager to learn will acquire knowledge not just on engineering but also on business. You will be working on laying out various seats including Economy, Business and First class in a variety or aircrafts. Work with various functions within engineering to accurately determine engineering effort needed to complete the project. This is an onsite role, based out of Winston-Salem, NC.
This position may be eligible for relocation.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Creating configuration LOPAs (Layout of Passenger Accommodations).
- Completing weight tables.
- Complete customer compliance matrix.
- Supporting Integrated Quote Workbooks for seating proposal efforts.
Basic qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
