JOB SUMMARY
Optis Consulting is actively seeking a Business Development Associate to join our Salt Lake City team. As the Business Development Associate, you will spearhead account management, drive data analysis, and pioneer new business opportunities. We seek a driven professional, motivated by challenges, with tenacity, a proactive approach, and a proven track record in sales within Enterprise SaaS, Procurement, or Supply Chain software/services.
This is an account management and demand generation role, working with large enterprise accounts and C-level executives, collaborating with our Alliance, Sales, and Marketing Teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Optis sales leadership in building and maintaining relationships with account executives at our software alliances to increase sales
- Prepare materials for conversations with stakeholders
- Utilize analytical tools and methods to extract meaningful insights on our prospective clients to improve prospecting and account strategy
- Coordinate activities/ action and ensure consistency of sales processes across Optis’s sales staff
- Drive demand for software alliance events, Optis Consulting owned events, and tradeshows
- Own follow up and nurture leads from events
- Manage inbound demand from Optis website conversions
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Optis’ service offerings and value proposition, as well as those of our software partners (Coupa, Ivalua, SAP Ariba and GEP)
- Stay current on company offerings and industry trends
REQUIREMENTS
- 12+ months of experience as a sales development resource/ Business Development resource in Enterprise SaaS, Procurement, or Supply Chain software and/ or services
- 6+ months in field sales preferred but not required
- Ability to prospect across multiple platforms (phone, email, social media, etc.)
- Consistent track record of achieving targets for qualified meetings or opportunities
- Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM
- Procurement or Supply Chain Domain knowledge is preferred
