About the Position:
This is a permanent position with Headquarters (HQs), US Army Corps of Engineers, Directorate of Resource Management located at the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO); 441 G. Street NW, Washington, D.C. 20314.
The HQs Directorate of Resource Management is a major staff component of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Supervises the work of approximately 7 - 9 professional and support employees in grades 12 through GS-14. Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets priorities, provides guidance, resolves policy issues, and reviews products and activities. Manages economic, investment and financial analyses, AND PROGRAM EVALUATIONs to assess and improve business practices. Manages the accomplishment of cost of doing business, overhead, economic, investment, and other financial analyses.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).Education: Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.Employment Type: FULL_TIME
