Business Analyst

General Summary

The Business Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing and reporting on Operations projects and initiatives while ensuring alignment with Graniterock’s Family Vision, Core Purpose, Core Values, Strategic priorities, and business objectives.

Essential Accountabilities

1. Comply, understand, and promote corporate and division safety initiatives to ensure “Safety Before All Else.”

2. Apply accounting acumen to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate business metrics for business stakeholders.

3. Partner with Business Intelligence IT to gather business results from various Graniterock systems including JDE, Hubble, Insight and Tableau.

4. Develop dashboard reports and perform data analysis to provide Business Leaders information that proactively drives improvements in Business Outcomes.

5. Prepare, coordinate and document business processes and financial impacts of those processes to make recommendations and present findings.

6. Lead the review and assessment of invoice cost review and tracking in Dataserve.

7.Prepare POs, review invoices and variances as required for the monthly financial close.

8.Gather, validate and enter data in ERP system – including operational/production reports, work order and inventory processes.

9.Participate in month end close, preliminary review, and final statements for supported branches.

Education and Work Experience

• BS/BA Business Accounting, IT or other related major or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years Accounting and JDE experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of CMD plant operations management preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of CMD Financial Statements and JDE.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and influence others.
• Excellent communication, leadership and understanding of financial statements.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to provide act as a liaison between IT and CMD operations in order to lead development of BI systems that drive Business Outcomes.
• Proficiency with all MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Tableau reporting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $5,887.00 - $7,267.00 per month
