Business Analyst & Scrum Master - Hybrid

We're looking for an amazing Analyst, Business Analyst & Scrum Master to fill this role, which is based in our Seattle or Miami offices.  You will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity. Additionally, you will serve as a Scrum Master and manage user access in Snowflake and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Agile Project Management: Serve as a Scrum Master, facilitating agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.            
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery, resolving any conflicts or impediments that arise.            
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements, data requirements, user stories from multiple departments.         
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements, design data models, and implement solutions to meet their needs.         
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, process flows, data flows, and functional/technical specifications for data, and reporting.   
• Create report mockups and assist in testing and user acceptance from business requirements.        
• Data profiling, cataloging and creation of data dictionary. 

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum 5 years with Data Warehouse systems
• Minimum 5 years with BI tools like Tableau and Power BI
• Minimum 5 years with agile methodology
• Experience in Jira and other project management tools
• SQL skills for trouble shooting, data governance, cataloguing and analysis.
• Database experience like Oracle, DB2 and Snowflake
• Basic understanding of Data Warehouse concepts like fact/dim tables and data profiling.
• Ability to interact well with all levels within the organization.
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Holland America is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).

• Base Salary Range: $78,200.00 to $105,600.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
