SUMMARY:
Business analyst to help direct the Bids and Proposals processes, procedures, and daily activities to achieve annual department targets and growth objectives
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Estimate project costs in association with sales professionals and other Jetway associates.
- Review new-project scope to determine appropriate pricing for projects.
- Complete small business reporting for military / defense projects
- Support the following departments: Marketing, Sales, Pricing, Project Management, Accounting, Site President, Product Managers.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Business Analyst Qualifications / Skills:
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Applications: Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint
- Possess knowledge of importing data for use in spreadsheets, graphs & flow charts
- Be able to exercise independent judgment and act on it.
- Possess excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Possess logical thought processes and be efficient, with keen attention to detail.
- Show a highly self-motivated work ethic and must be self-directed.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
- Possess a strong customer-service orientation
- Demonstrated experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- (1-4) years' experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in business or a closely related field from a recognized university.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
- Strong customer service orientation
- MUST have strong, practical experience with Lean Manufacturing and in leading continuous improvement teams and initiatives.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management and/or public groups.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to comprehend and apply principles of modern algebra, geometry, and general mathematics. Ability to work with concepts such as limits, and college-level algebra.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
COMPUTER SKILLS
This position requires competent day-to-day use of the following computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio; ERP/MRP Systems such as SyteLine; and PDM systems such as TeamCenter.
