Job Description:
As part of the dynamic program team dedicated to modernizing Mainframe Loan Servicing and Loan Accounting systems, our client is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to lead the testing efforts for the Fiserv DNA client product. The BA will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless transition to a modernized platform, providing parity or enhanced user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively manage product backlog:
- Prioritize and organize tasks to align with project objectives.
Research and capture requirements for User Stories:
- Conduct in-depth analysis to gather and document testing requirements.
Produce meeting notes from discovery interviews:
- Document insights and decisions from collaborative discussions.
Write acceptance criteria:
- Define clear and comprehensive criteria for successful testing outcomes.
Facilitate story discussions in internal team meetings as needed:
- Engage with cross-functional teams to refine and clarify testing requirements.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standup, demos, etc.):
- Contribute actively to Agile practices for efficient project delivery.
Sit as a proxy for the lead when needed:
- Represent the team and make informed decisions in the absence of the lead.
QA test, as needed, in preparation of moving to UAT:
- Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure readiness for User Acceptance Testing.
Key Experience(s):
Prior experience as a Business Analyst:
- Demonstrated experience in BA roles, preferably in software testing and development projects.
Understanding of Agile (SCRUM) practices:
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and best practices.
Story writing in Agile formats:
- Proficient in creating clear and concise User Stories.
Previously run or contributed to discovery interviews:
- Proven experience in gathering and documenting requirements through stakeholder interviews.
Previous experience in Loan Servicing or Loan Accounting:
- Knowledge of financial industry practices related to Loan Servicing and accounting.
Previous work on Client products, specifically DNA:
- Experience with DNA or similar Client products.
Previous work in Financial Services or Farm Credit:
- Understanding of the financial services industry, with specific knowledge of Farm Credit a plus.
Key Skill:
Visionary:
- Able to grasp the big picture and align work with defined project goals.
Key Technology/Certification(s):
CSPO a plus:
- Certified Scrum Product Owner certification is advantageous.
SAFe certified a plus:
- Certification in the Scaled Agile Framework is a positive attribute.
ADO experience a plus:
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) is a beneficial skill.
Hourly W2 pay rate $65.00-$70.00
We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
