SUMMARY
The Baan IV IT Business Analyst in this role will design, test, and implement BaanIV application solutions using a variety of tools and technologies. The scope of the solutions will vary in size and complexity from department level to enterprise-wide and may be internally focused within Andersen Corporation or externally focused to support a variety of customer channels.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Independently working closely with business customers to understand, define and document business requirements, functional requirements and design requirements for high complexity assignments.
• Consult with Product Owners, Account Managers and IT Architects in the design phase of high-complexity projects to leverage technology and provide implementation recommendations and accurate estimates to support business process improvements.
• Responsible for the design, testing, deployment, and documentation of high-complexity assignments
• Coordinate and assist with the deployment of applications into the production environment.
• Participates in the definition and adherence to design and testing methods and techniques that meet corporate IT standards.
• Work with IT infrastructure staff and PMO staff to ensure the successful delivery of the application.
• Adhere to Agile practices and other PMO or Team project methodology.
• Independently estimate the design, testing and deployment of assignments and meet the estimated time for delivery.
• Develop and maintain relationships with business customers, project leaders, Architects and account managers.
• Develop and provide end-user training and application support.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS or a related discipline
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with BaanIV.
• Familiar with a variety of application development methodologies including SDLC, Agile and Scrum
• Able to work individually as well as in a team environment
• Able to deliver high-quality solutions
• Able to manage and prioritize a number of tasks and projects
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to generate creative solutions
• Strong focus on customer service and goes the extra mile to ensure a positive customer experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
