A recognized hospitality organization in Florida is actively seeking a new Business Analyst for a great opportunity working on a variety of technology projects, playing an integral role from concept to closure of high-profile projects.
***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 2 days a week.***
Responsibilities: The Business Analyst will:
- Translate business needs into functional documents such as use cases and wire frames to help the business envision the future state and to define scope for technical implementation
- Build business relationships both across the enterprise and within the technology team
- Identify and document current and future state business processes
- Collaborate on system test plans, objectives, and cases/scripts and participate in testing activities
- Track issues, risks, and action items to resolution
- Participate in system deployments and providing hands-on support during hyper care periods
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience working with digital web strategies, web development and mobile applications
- Demonstrated competency in eliciting requirements from stakeholders and ability to build collaborative relationships across functional areas
- Demonstrated progressive experience in software implementations including contributions or ownership for scope, use case, wire frames, assistance in testing, creating cutover plans, tracking risks, issues, action logs and developing training documentation.
- Excellent conceptual, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Strong self-manage skills, work independently, be highly motivated and have a strong drive for results
- Understand fundamentals of iterative development and software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Outstanding verbal and written skills and be a team player with positive attitude
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, related field
- Experience with requirements and development management tools such as JIRA, TFS
- Previous theme park or hospitality experience
