As a Business Analyst, you will strengthen Data Quality across the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare (CMS) by providing recommendations that focus on defining and maintaining appropriate Data Quality, format, and flow to accelerate the agency’s shift to data-driven risk management. What You’ll Be Up To
· Partner with stakeholders across departments to implement Data Quality improvement initiatives.
· Analyze existing Data Quality issues within the system and incorporate team feedback to refine the strategy effectively.
· Creating/documenting the proposed architecture and roadmap for the Data Quality Problem Management System.
· Conduct in-depth assessments of Data Quality issues within the organization's systems.
· Identify discrepancies, anomalies, and inconsistencies in data sets.
· Work closely with relevant teams to implement strategies and solutions that address and rectify Data Quality problems.
· Ensure that Data Quality policies, standards, and procedures align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

What You Bring to the Table
· Bachelor’s degree in a technical field;
· Any industry certification (Security+, CCSK, etc)
What You Need in Your Toolkit
· Minimum 7 years of experience in a Business Analyst role
· Familiarity with Human Centered Design is a plus!
· Exposure to a risk management framework such as NIST 80-53, ISO 27001, ISO 27002, HITRUST, FedRAMP, Zero Trust, etc preferred
· Federal Information Systems experience & knowledge of the security control assessment process preferred
· Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, etc.) and CRM software.
· Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
· Proven track record in developing and implementing Data Quality strategies and problem management systems.
· Understanding of data governance principles and experience in designing governance frameworks.
· Must be a US Citizen
