POSITION/TITLE: Business Analyst

REPORTS TO: PMO Manager
POSITION SUMMARY: We have an excellent opportunity for an early career Business Analyst to hone their skills in a growing manufacturing firm. This position offers autonomy, challenge, and the support of technical and non-technical team members within our project management and developers team.
This position will primarily support the ERP application. The ERP application supports multiple functional areas (Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, and Shipping). This position will be responsible for training users on ERP functionality and supporting upcoming implementation projects. The Business Analyst will easily interact with internal customers across departments at all levels, including management.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- This position is for a Project Coordinator/System Analyst who will support the PMO processes with a complete understanding of current procedures, document those processes, identify improvements and ensure compliance with organization policies.
- Provide software support to customers 1st & 2nd line including basic report requests (Software Configuration, Installation, troubleshooting, and Support).
- Development of user guides and manuals for system users.
- Leads, plans, and executes projects, small initiatives, and/or cross-functional teams.
- Under the general supervision of the PMO Manager, the Business Analyst is responsible for the administration of Vendor Contracts, Vendor invoicing, SOWs, etc. to help in managing the department’s operational budget as well as support the PMO in the management of project capital budget.
- This position monitors project workflow, planning and scheduling, execution, costs, quality, and risks; will work with the PMO Manager to ensure completion of Information Technology projects/initiatives and maintain schedules.
- Develops project status reports, proposals and other documentation as needed ensuring internal controls are satisfied.
- Working in a cross-functional environment, the Business Analyst will set internal meetings with stakeholders, follow up and ensure projects goals and objectives are met.
- Facilitate and drive process improvement initiatives within the PMO organization.
- Performs other duties as required.
Technical Support Analyst/Administrator Duties:
- Monitors application processes to determine operational problems or errors and initiates corrective actions.
- Resolves user and application issues related to the ERP system.
- Troubleshoots and provides diagnostics and maintenance of supported applications.
- Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates current applications to determine improvements and make recommendations to the business.
- Provides training for end-users as needed.

Qualification:
- Bachelors Degree in or equivalent.
- 1 - 3 years of work experience as a Business Analyst in an IT environment.
- Knowledge and experience in change management processes.
- Knowledge and experience working with an ERP system; IFS preferable.
- Fundamental knowledge of Project Management processes and methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid.
- Basic understanding of software development process
- Knowledge and experience creating and running SQL Queries.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to learn new tools/software.
