JOB TITLE: Business Analyst

DUTIES: Serve as the liaison and Subject Matter Expert between the business users, Medicaid program area, and technical teams. Duties include: Ensure understanding of priorities, business needs, schedule, status, and deliverables amongst members of the business, program and technical teams; Manage day-to-day communication and ensure rapid resolution of requests and questions from business users and technical teams; Facilitate sessions with business, program and technical teams to understand business needs, identify and design solutions, and develop use cases; Create formal documentation for Business, Functional and Technical requirements, Functional and Technical Design, and Use Cases; Lead development of formal Test Plans and test data in collaboration with the business, program and technical teams; Coordinate User Acceptance Testing sessions with Business Users; Validate and test web application and reporting functions; Facilitate and document business User Acceptance Testing; Prepare necessary forms and documentation for implementation; Work on a technical team as an integral team member to develop web-based solutions; Facilitate business requirements gathering, technical documentation, test plan creation; and Analyze and recommend process improvements. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related Business Analyst occupation. Position requires 2 years of experience in the following: Web Applications in a Data Warehouse; State Government business areas; SDLC; SQL; and BI tools.
RATE OF PAY: $91,042-$111,650 /year
