The following list are some of the things you could be doing on a daily basis:
- To perform general and routine maintenance to ensure facilities & Warehouse are in good working order.
- Hands on position that includes performance of general maintenance in a warehouse setting including but not limited to assisting in cleanliness of areas, electrical work, working around lifts, assisting in repairs of equipment as needed.
- Responsible for ensuring all the proper tools and supplies are kept in appropriate location and in good condition.
- Responsible for recording daily activities to facilities manager.
- Complete project and maintenance lists/tasks in a timely fashion.
- Daily tasks included but aren't limited to: restrooms, kitchen facilities, warehouse, walkways, grounds, etc.
- Ability to work non-standard hours and differing work rotations and shifts.
- Will need to work with additional maintenance technicians to solve problems, validate quality of work for outside contractors, work with building managers, and meet aggressive timelines.
- Participate in any form of event set up, temporary structures, furniture moving, requests from owners.
- Other duties as assigned.
** hourly pay depending on experience.
Requirements
- Knowledge of trades related to building maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of a variety of building maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Knowledge of machinery, equipment, and tools necessary for the maintenance and repair of public buildings.
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
- Skill in reading and following blueprints and assembly instructions.
- Skills in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
- Skill in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Bilingual Preferred
