MTEQ is seeking to hire a full time Budget Analyst at Ft Belvoir, VA. Selected candidate will possess a very strong attention to detail, professional communication skills, self-motivation, and a commitment to excellence.
QualificationsDuties:
- Create and maintain MIPRs from the commitment level to the obligation in GFEBS, and the Comprehensive Cost and Requirement system (CCAR).
- Enter the transactions entered into GFEBS include MIPRs, SPS documents, travel, and supplies.
- Utilize Electronic Document Access (EDA) and Operational Data Store (ODS) for data support to research contract and analyze accruals, disbursements, and expenditures.
- Create Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), be knowledgeable on funding the project under Funds Management Maintainer (FMBB), create obligations reimbursable and direct cite (PO), and run reports in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Business Intelligence (BI).
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2 plus years experience in accounting or similar role
- Knowledge of and/or experience with Government Accounting systems (GFEBS)
- Knowledge of MIPRs and incremental funding
- HS Degree or equivalent
- College degree preferred
Security Clearance:
- Due to the requirements of this contract, U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance is required. Active Security Clearance is preferred.
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally bend and move about the facility.
Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
