The BSA Analyst assists BSA Management to ensure the bank's compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Program and related regulations. BSA Analyst will review and investigate alerts and perform other BSA compliance duties as assigned by BSA Management
Responsibilities- Performs Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Reviews.
- Keeps apprised of relevant anti-money laundering laws and regulations.
- Supports BSA Management and the BSA team in other BSA Department tasks.
- Handles special assignments as requested.
In the performance of respective duties, must maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all other regulatory, security and bank policies
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in related field or equivalent strongly desired.
- One to two years of related bank BSA compliance experience or equivalent.
- Knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act, the USA PATRIOT Act, Office of Foreign Assets Control regulations, strategies and federal regulatory enforcement policies.
- Ability to work independently with limited direction from supervisor.
- Very good written and oral communication skills.
- Online research, organization, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
- Interpersonal skills.
- PC and computer application skills (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
