Job Description
Robert Half is partnering with a local bank in central NJ in search of a BSA Analyst. The bank provides a great atmosphere and opportunity. The responsibilities of the role are as follows:
• Assist the BSA department in implementing the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and other Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations
• Responsible for BSA daily reports
• Responsible for ensuring BSA compliance in regard to CIP, including new accounts documentation; following up with Branch Management regarding missing documentation or discrepancies and documenting and maintaining records of Branch CIP exceptions
• Prepare and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and conduct a 90-days EDD review if accounts are maintained opened
• Monitor branch cash shipments in and out of the Bank for unusual trends and notify management of any issues/concerns
• Review and analyze Kiting Report on a daily basis
• Complete assigned alerts from the AML system in a timely and efficient manner
• Assist, as needed, with completing Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) and maintenance of records
• Prepare investigations for cased referred by Bank personnel or encountered during the daily monitoring process for unusual activity and document findings
• Compliance with all relevant Bank policies and procedures
Software:
- Fiserv (FCRM)
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Prior Bank experience is a must
- Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
- Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively
- Familiar with Spreadsheet and ERP system
- Solid understanding of Fiserv
- Knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act
- Conducts Investigations experience
- Proficiency in EDD
- Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
