Breakfast Server

The Greensboro Marriott Downtown is currently seeking some qualified candidates to fill the following positions in our Food & Beverage Department.

• Morning Breakfast Server

Job Description:

• The Server’s responsibilities include speaking with customers, taking drink and food orders, making recommendations, processing payments, and ensuring that customers’ needs are met and they have an excellent time. You should be a skilled multi-tasker with a passion for customer satisfaction.
• To succeed as a Server, you should be friendly, proactive, and efficient. Servers should also be passionate about the food and drinks they serve and creating a fun, enjoyable experience for every customer.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive and take guest orders and process in a timely manner through whatever systems are currently used in the restaurant.
• Prepare and serve meal accompaniments to guests.
• Perform sidework.
• Bus and set tables, as needed.
• Perform set up and breakdown of various stations
• Assist with orders to go, as needed.
• Seat guests and help with answering phones as business demands.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Communicate with support crew and management.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One-year minimum of customer service experience preferably within the Food & Beverage industry.
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
• Highly motivated and flexible, possessing the ability to take initiative.
• Flexible schedule, able to work mornings, nights, holidays and weekends.
• Compliance with all local, state, and federal liquor laws.
