SUMMARY: Prepare, maintain, and clean up Continental Breakfast food line. The responsibility of every employee is to complete shift assignments in a professional and timely manner in accordance with Pacific Plaza Hotels, Inc. standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.
•Prepare food line by placing and displaying food in serving containers.
•Provide information to customers by answering food preparation questions. resolving special requests.
•Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction with breakfast items. Handle anycomplaints by following procedure.
•Keep equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures.
•Maintain food line by replenishing food at workstation.
•Protect customers and employees by adhering to sanitation policies and procedures; maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
•Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :Other duties may be assigned.
•Inventory specified food items daily.
•Maintain breakfast area free of debris.
•Sweep and mop breakfast area.
•Wash and restock breakfast cookware, dishes, utensils, etc.
•Clean area under kitchen shelving, dishwasher, and refrigerators. Clean cabinets, counters, inside refrigerators and freezers.
•Stock each kitchen work area.
•Identify items that we are short of before items runs out.
•Prepare maintenance requests as needed to maintain kitchen and breakfast area in excellent condition
