Role Description: We are looking for a Brand/Community Manager to join the Slate Brands team. This position will directly support the marketing team in brand management, strategy, and optimization across our various in-house and white label brands. Goal is to organize and strategize across our brands as well as understand company systems.
The Ideal Candidate: A highly organized individual who is passionate about beauty, brand management, and marketing. This person is up-beat, detail oriented, able to multitask and can keep up with a fast paced environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage high level direction and strategy for all in-house brands.
- Handling and keeping track of everything ongoing for the brand.
- High level marketing and community management.
- Creating and maintaining a system for running all brands within Slate.
- Able to process insights and then coordinate within our team.
- Budgeting: managing, and working within a set budget.
- Managing consistent email outreach.
- Coordinating with teams to keep all portions of brand moving and insights into marketing.
Qualifications
- Must have a strong understanding of social media
- Must have strong critical thinking skills and ability to plan ahead
- Fast learner with the ability to understand our brands
- Must have strong communication skills
- Have an interest in beauty and a keen eye for trends
- Must have existing familiarity with social media influencers
- Excellent organizational skills
- The ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
About Us: Slate Brands is a digitally native beauty brand incubator. We are strategic partners who provide talent and businesses with end to end services needed to build and scale beauty brands. Our portfolio is composed of talent-led, white label and in-house brands.
What We Do: We formulate and manufacture across beauty categories including: skincare, haircare, color cosmetics, beauty tools, personal care, and supplements with a speciality in fragrance. Using our proprietary data and premier team to guide development and growth strategies, we provide our partners with invaluable industry know-how, insights and connections to rapidly launch ideas based on years worth of infrastructure.
Details: Our office is located in Brooklyn, NY, but this is a remote position. We are looking for a minimum of 15 hours a week, and are flexible to your schedule. Goals is to grow into a full time role.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
