Reporting to Navistar's Director of Retail Marketing, this role will be responsible for the deliverables outlined below.
This role will also be pivotal in execution of Navistar's Brand and Marketing Strategy throughout the International Truck and IC Bus dealership network.
The role's area of responsibility will cover the western half of the United States. The candidates should be located in their respective areas of responsibility.
Responsibilities- Provide strategic marketing leadership to dealership groups across the West Division of International Truck and IC Bus
- Key leadership role - driving Navistar corporate marketing initiatives at their respective dealership groups & locations
- Expand capabilities of dealership marketing departments
- Drive dealership marketing results for Navistar Marketing KPIs
- Execute Navistar Marketing action plans by working closely with each dealer group via their marketing department and leadership team
- Revitalize the importance and prove ROI for dealership marketing roles, demonstrating the importance of Marketing to the success of commercial truck dealership groups
- Operate as the expert on Navistar Marketing internal resources and industry data resources
- Mentor, train and grow dealership marketing managers by being the marketing expert and staying aware of dealer marketing best practices
- Develop a regional marketing plan that drives revenue & brand reputation for the International & IC Bus portfolio of products & services
- Responsible for improving dealer engagement with corporate driven programs, tools, resources and initiatives
- Drive techniques to improve lead management and conversion
- Closely align with sales, parts and service teams to lead and develop "lifecycle go-to-market plans" for targeted segments, new product & services launches and cross-sell initiatives
- Provide relevant, timely metrics to sales and marketing leadership showcasing dealer engagement
- Master's degree
- At least 2 years of marketing experience
OR
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of marketing experience
OR
- At least 7 years of marketing experience
- Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. - Influencing and Leadership through presentation of data and reasoning
- Understanding of generalized Marketing Concepts (4 P's, SWOT, etc.)
- KPI-based decision abilities
- Strong focus on execution of plans to an external network (i.e. - dealers, franchise, B2B)
- Critical Problem-Solving Skills - Root Cause Analysis, RASIC, and Action Planning
- MS Office Tools for analytics and reporting
- Dealer business system familiar
- Experience in omni-channel marketing: digital/web/crm/social/experiential channels
- Proven track record & skills associated with business transformation, change management or capabilities growth of the Marketing function
Navistar provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary range for this role is $104-130K a year.
