Brand And Social Media Ambassador

We are looking to hire an outgoing and enthusiastic Brand and Social Media Ambassador to help promote brand awareness on behalf of the VERA and Jack Herer Brands.

This is a Full-time, field position.

As a VERA and Jack Herer Brand and Social Media Ambassador you will be working closely with our sales team to enhance VERA and Jack Herer brand awareness in the Colorado cannabis industry.

Duties to include:

• Represent the brands and companies in an accurate, respectful, and engaging manner
• Build rapport with customers and vendors
• Communicate trends, opportunities and feedback to the Sales Team
• Accurately and timely complete and submit end of shift reports online; expense reports (if applicable), photo submissions, etc.
• Properly manage organization and cleanliness of storage space, product, and marketing assets
• Hand out Fliers to accounts and surrounding businesses to promote upcoming company events, promos, or store openings
• Perform other duties as assigned by the sales director
• Create engaging and informative content for our Social Media accounts with a focus on Instagram
• Collaborate with our sales team and ownership to ensure content is consistent with brand guidelines and messaging
• Monitor and respond to audience engagement, comments, and messages on Social Media platforms

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

• A reliable means of transportation and valid driver's license that is not expired, suspended, or revoked, as demonstrated with MVR
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable public speaking in front of large and small audiences
• Sales skills, including persuasion, overcoming objections, active listening, and negotiation.
• Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Working knowledge of Social Media platforms and tools
• Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to travel
• Skilled in relationship building
• Excellent time-management skills

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a valid Colorado Driver's License and personal vehicle
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Prior experience in a customer service environment
• State Law requires that applicants be 21 years old
• 2 + years of experience in events, retail, customer service, or related field
• Cannabis Industry experience preferred
• Willing to undergo a background check in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work under diverse weather conditions
• Ability to stand and remain mobile for extended periods of time during samplings and events
• Ability to record accurate data
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
• Ability to occasionally bend, kneel, squat, and twist

COMPENSATION

This role has a pay range between $50,000-$55,000.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
