`Position: Branch Manager
Location: Tampa/Ocala
Cardinal Vending & Markets (Florida Fresh Vending) is one of the largest independent vending and micro-market companies in Florida.
The Branch Manager (BM) will oversee the daily operations of FFV in their respective operating territory. Responsibilities include warehouse operations, inventory management, delivery, settlement, customer service and equipment service/installs. The BM will drive a culture of efficiency and continuous improvement. The BM will manage the financial performance of their operation against an annual business plan.
Responsibilities:
· Provide regular and consistent leadership to branch personnel, communicating values, strategies and objectives while providing motivation, training and guidance/coaching.
· Support and implement company initiatives to achieve performance, quality and safety metrics.
· Actively manage P & L activities, analyzing results and identifying corrective actions.
· Enforce company policies and procedures. Promote ethical business practices.
· Proactively improve processes and strive for enhanced levels of efficiency.
· Develop revenue strategies while building the company brand throughout their territory.
· Actively engage in talent management processes, including recruitment strategy, performance management, employee development, etc.
· Regularly communicate with associates at all levels, providing updates and responding to associate feedback.
· Motivate, direct, coach and develop a diverse, high performing branch team to meet established goals and build organizational capability.
· Foster an environment that supports an engaged safety culture.
· Demonstrate behaviors needed for effective implementation of change.
· Satisfy and exceed the needs and service requirements of the customer.
· Effectively translate branch and company goals and objectives to all levels of the site ensuring alignment on relevant performance data.
· Sustain a consistent long-term vision through continuous process improvement.
· Maintain a supportive work environment without any harassment or discrimination.
· Ensure the safeguard and security of company assets (buildings, equipment, trucks and inventory).
· Oversee total compliance with all regulations as it relates to the FMCSA.
Requirements:
· Minimum 10+ years of vending and micro-market experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a management or operations role.
· Experience managing annual budgets up to $5M
· Ability to review, analyze and act on operational KPI’s and revenue data.
· Strong PC skills including Word and Excel.
· Ability to interact with vendors and customers to drive top-line growth and margin targets.
· Deep understanding of Vend Management Software packages (ie – Lightspeed, Parlevel, , etc…).
· Warehouse management experience and systems (ie – Lightspeed).
· Must have strong decision-making skills and the ability to analyze information and determine appropriate actions
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop associates while driving accountability
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
