The primary objective of this position is to oversee all aspects of the designated branch location(s). The role requires delivering personalized customer service to each client and working closely with the Account Manager to seize business opportunities and achieve success. The individual in this position should be at ease communicating with people, prioritize maintaining high safety standards, and have a proficient understanding of Microsoft Office for administrative tasks.
- Supervise the Operations and branch team members, ensuring adherence to company policies in all day-to-today activities and processes.
- Address customer requirements by fulfilling local equipment needs and providing effective solutions.
- Inspect Trailers (in all weather conditions) - for safety and quality purposes.
- Read, understand, and communicate profit and loss financial statements:
- Monitor and assess the Profit and Loss (P&L) Statement for the designated branch, ensuring alignment with established plans.
- Maintain open communication with the Regional Vice President, seeking assistance and addressing special issues or problems as they arise.
- Negotiate pricing to cultivate and maintain business partnerships with local repair vendors.
- Undertake additional responsibilities, encompassing temporary tasks aimed at supporting team members, maintaining operational success, or ensuring facility safety.
- Perform equipment inventory monthly.
- Review customer and vendor insurance for compliance.
- Train and teach essential business functions for the Operations Associate.
- Ensure the safety of all staff and 3rd party vendors.
- Maintain local licensing, registration paperwork and fleet vehicle licensing.
- Review and analyze operational reports to determine cost analysis.

Standard Job Specifications
- Authorization to work in the United States is required.
- A college degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in the transportation field is necessary; preferred 7 years.
- A minimum of 3 years' management experience is required; preferred 5 years.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Physical Requirements:
- The associate will be required to read, communicate verbally and/or in written form, remember and analyze data; and remember and understand certain instructions or guidelines.
- Must be able to climb in and out of trailers (standard is a 5’)
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be required to stand, walk, and sit.
- Frequently use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25lbs/12kg.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be willing to work outdoors under various weather conditions.
- Minimal travel required.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
