As a Regional Business Manager, you will serve as a strategic leader and primary point of contact for financial decision making within your aligned territory. You will provide strategic financial input to the Region Director(s) that you support and key stakeholders within the Region. You will also work with their peers across broader Divisional deliverables and sometimes National initiatives. Job Description:
- Serves as a trusted advisor to the Regional Director, providing clarity on how to best use analytics to gain insights, evaluate metrics and drive results
- Provides strategic analytical and business management support for the Consumer Banking business, with the responsibility for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the region’s performance
- Produces reporting and analyzes financial results, including expenses; identify productivity initiatives and drive implementation
- Leverages an understanding of business and financial principles and a working knowledge of key business drivers to plan across the region, assess the performance requirements implicit in these plans, and work alongside the Regional Leadership Team to develop strategies to deliver results
- Establishes relationships and maintains lines of communication with key stakeholders throughout the Region (e.g. One Chase partners, Operations, Human Resources, Recruiting, etc.) in conjunction with the Region Director while acting as a conduit for broader finance organization (e.g. Planning and Analysis, Workforce Planning, Data and Analytics, Operational Risk, etc.)
- Maintains a comprehensive view of the competitive landscape; leverages industry expertise and competitive insights to develop thoughtful performance metrics that are aligned with the firm’s priorities
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in financial organizations
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field,
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, partner with and influence stakeholders across multiple functional areas and lines of business to drive strategic efforts and to enhance the organization’s reporting and analysis
- Strategic thinker with sound financial acumen, technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus
- Possesses an ability to navigate through complex financial situations to maximize results
- Exceptional communication skills, with excellent presentation, preparation, and delivery skills
- Ability to stand alone and influence results and actions of others
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant financial reporting software
- Results-oriented, self-directed, and well organized with an ability to execute on multiple projects at the same time
- Ability to travel, primarily within the Region
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Master’s Degree
- Tableau and Essbase experience preferred
Candidates must be able to physically work in office in Columbus, OH 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week. The specific schedule will be determined and communicated by direct management. Additionally, this role does require some travel.
