Branch assistants provide excellent customer service and operational support in our library branches. A typical day involves assisting our customers with registering for library cards, answering general questions, checking library materials in and out and providing computer and technical assistance.

This position is 24 hours per week. The work schedule is Monday 5pm-9pm, Tuesday 12pm-9pm, Thursday 5pm-9pm and Saturday 9am-6pm
- High School Diploma or equivalent; AND one (1) year of customer service OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- You must pass the Dewey Decimal Skills Test before your application will be considered. The Dewey Decimal Skills Test can be taken at any library branch during hours of operation. You may also take the the test in Human Resources at the Main Library Monday through Friday from 9am to 4:30pm.
- Starting pay is $13.24 per hour and up based on related and comparable work experience
