PURPOSE AND PERFORMANCE GOALS: Theatre Box Office Associate provides quality, value-added professional service in the theatre area to meet or exceed brand standards for quality customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- During the annual Subscription Campaign process subscription renewals, changes, new requests, and stage pass memberships
- Assists customers with ticket sales, seat selection, accessible seating, exchanges, and special requests
- Promote theatre subscriptions and stage pass memberships
- Become familiar with current productions by attending dress
rehearsals and performances
- Responsible for working the phones, Box Office window, handling
cash, credit, and gift card transactions, and balancing transactions
daily

QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will be well organized, dependable, enjoy working closely with other team members, possess accurate communication skills, has solid problem-solving skills, comfortable making decisions within a defined framework, able to handle stress and accurate handling and reporting of
financial transactions.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous knowledge logging into and using business computers in
order to be trained on the Audience View and Micros systems
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to communicate clearly with guests, customers, supervisors and fellow team members

HOURS
Due to the business demands of the theatre, any employee may be required to work rotating shifts, including weekends, night shifts, and/or overtime. Also, depending on business demands, hours may be reduced at any time.
