Front Desk Reception
Office Manager
High School diploma and /or two years of front desk experience.
- Must screen phone calls to make sure clients are 60 and over and reside within our boundaries as determined by the IDOA.
- Must be able to determine which case manager receives each call.
- Greet clients as they come into the office.
- Schedule appointments for various services.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel spreadsheets.
- Open the office at 8:00am and close the office at 4:00pm daily.
- Take in payments and write receipts.
- Process incoming and outgoing faxes.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and inter-office mail.
- Gather Advisory Council minutes, letters to the Board, and all pertinent information for the monthly Board of Directors Meeting.
- Mail and/or e-mail Board packets to all Board members.
- Must be friendly, and personable.
- Patient listener when required.
- Handles multiple issues simultaneously without losing priorities or perspective.
- Detail oriented – maintains thorough, accurate records.
- Maintain an objective outlook and problem solving approach when involved with stressful situations.
- Good judgment and decision sense, the ability to determine and prioritize important calls, and tasks.
- Level-headed, able to act/interact appropriately in emotional situations.
- Able to deliver uncomfortable information in such a way as to minimize adverse reactions.
