Role
We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant to maintain all our financial transactions and records up to date, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Bookkeeper job duties include working closely with our accounting team to create and analyze financial reports, ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoices and tax payments. Ultimately, the Bookkeeper’s responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company and assist with the overall financial cycle of each project. Our ideal candidate holds an accounting or finance degree and is familiar with accounting packages, such as QuickBooks.
Responsibilities
- Entering credit cards charges.
- Preparing daily and weekly billing for customers.
- Applying cash receipts.
- Collecting accounts receivable.
- Vendor payments.
- Assist with payroll processing and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements
- Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct daybook, suppliers, customer, and general ledger.
- Assign incomes and expenses to the correct accounts using QuickBooks.
- Bring the books to the trial balance stage.
- Perform partial checks of the posting process.
- Enter data, maintain records and lunch reports and financial statements.
- Other administrative and financial tasks as required.
Skills and Experience
- +3 Years Minimum Experience.
- Proven bookkeeping and accounting experience.
- Problem-solving.
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.
- Strong computer skills and MS Office.
- Ability to use accounting software.
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Associate or BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent work experience.

Schedule
Monday to Friday From 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Occasional overtime may be required.
Compensation
$25.00 to $30.00 an hour.
