Bookkeeper

This position will assist in managing and maintaining our day-to-day accounting and finance tasks. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are important qualifications for this position. The ideal candidate is a skilled multi-tasker, reliable, and adept at communicating clearly. In addition, the ideal candidate will be exceptionally thorough in their work and have a passion for accuracy, organization, and continuous process improvement. Candidates with strong experience in customer account collections and Microsoft Excel are preferred.

General Duties Required for this position:

• Prepare invoices and check requests for approval
• Code invoices to proper ledger accounts and classes
• Prepare and process checks for multiple companies
• Maintain vendor and customer files
• Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities to specific deadlines
• Reconcile cash payments and customer transactions
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
• Review AR aging to ensure compliance
• Follow established procedures for processing payments, cash, etc.
• Compile various data for reporting purposes, using Excel spreadsheets
• Update data for tracking inventory

Essential Skills and Requirements:

• Proficient in Quickbooks and MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage time, projects and deadlines
• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
• Ability to provide elite customer service to our customers
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
