We are a small bookkeeping firm that is growing, and we are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Accountant that would like to grow with us.
We love helping our clients by providing them with accurate and timely financials. Our clients are a mixed bag but a great deal of them are nonprofits. Nonprofit experience would be a plus!
Must be located in an eastern time zone and willing to work an 8 hour day within the hours of 8 am and 5 pm eastern.
The bookkeeper will perform various bookkeeping tasks including but not limited to:
o General ledger maintenance
o Invoicing and accounts receivable
o Balance sheet reconciliations
o Process and reconcile payroll
o Preparation of monthly journal entries
o Financial reporting
o SOP Optimization
Qualifications:
o Passion for helping clients achieve success in their business
o Ability to manage multiple projects independently
o QBO pro-advisor Certified
o Understanding of GAAP
o Ability to muli-task
o Must have a thorough understanding of accrual accounting
o Highly organized with strong attention to detail
o Excellent time management skills
o Must be a team player
o Ability to work independently and under the pressure of deadlines
Must have experience working for a bookkeeping or accounting firm, managing multiple clients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
